Hi Fellas, I learned an effect this morning by Paul Gordon from his book, Gold Dust Finale. It's called, "Acid DNL". Super easy and I think would really surprise/entertain a lay audience.

Rudy — I’m currently on a mini-vacation visiting family and just happened to check in for a moment on TMF — I’m glad I did! Your performance was awesome and obviously Paul’s routine is stunning. Paul Gordon has a knack for creating gems like this (fast, easy to follow, and visual), and professionals like you always seem to know where to find them! Thanks for turning us on to it — definitely on my “must get” list, and thanks to the many routines mentioned here, my list is growing exponentially! — johnny

Damn you, Rudy! Great demonstration of Paul's equally great effect. The reason for my exclamation is only because you have made me drool for yet another stinking magic book! (Not that I have exhausted the material in Gold Dust, mind you...) Thanks for sharing! Av

Hi Johnny, It's great to hear from you! I hope that you're having a great time with your family! I appreciate the kind words. I've found Paul's books to be a great value and, as you said, he knows what entertains a lay audience. This particular trick is SUPER easy. Take care, my friend. Rudy

For a Royal Flush ending take from top of deck Q, J, K,10,A. Show four tens, then show four jacks. Pick up packet and EC face down stressing only four cards. Explain to do better might need an extra card. Wave packet over deck a little then count to show five cards. In counting, if you count the second card under the first then count rest on top you can then turnover packet to show royal flush in order.

I performed this yesterday at a local vineyard and it got a great reaction! Thanks for the suggestion, Paul.
