Hi everyone,

What Card / Billet Indexes do you know of or would suggest.

I have already studied the methods in Corinda's 13 Steps, Annemanns Practical Mental Magic & The Advocate by Daniel Madison.

Apologies in advance if this has already been discussed elsewhere.

Thanks,
Paul

Hey Paul!

Looch had a pocket index system a few years back. I have no clue if it is still on the market, but I've been told great thing about it.

Personally I've only used two different methods for indexing. The my favorite of the two is in the heirloom wallet by Alakazam Magic. It's a lovely wallet and has a fantastic method to index cards and billets. There is also the hideout wallet by alakazam that also has an index and a peek. My buddy swears by it.

Before I had money for a magician wallet, I would do a "body index". So I would have a few billets in my wallet in different pockets. And the rest in different pockets on my person.

I would highly suggest the heirloom wallet. It's capable of having full size playing cards, or billets. It's deceptive and extremely useful! That being said, just using a body index can do the trick.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Nathan, I'll have a nosey. Im trying to come up with my own index system where I don't have to store it in a pocket, but still have it concealed and easily accessible. I've had people in the past question my hands being in my pocket, completely performance based only of course lol

I almost forgot about Patrick Redford's Prophecy Voice App on the iPhone. This allows you to have multiple outs on your iPhone and not have to diddle around in your pocket. It is not exactly a pocket index, but I think it is just as good!
