I went to see a couple of my friends perform magic at a pub in Portland.

One of them showed me an incredible matrix effect that he bought when Penguin came to town. I learned that it's called, Coin Flux 2 by Mark Mason.

It looked unbelievable clean!! I'm wondering if any of you have experience this and would recommend it for walk around environments. Does it need a close up pad?

Looks nice. I really need to check out all the stuff over there one day to see what I'd really like to have.

Im not familiar with this, but I would imagine the coins aren't examinable especially since he mentions "self-working".

Imagine to yourself how the coins may be invisibly connected. Im just speculating, of course.

Coins not examinable. You could do it on a table with no mat, especially if there is background noise. Yes, it does look clean but there are other ways that you can do this with straight coins so it is up to you to decide which is best.

One of our members (AlexStrand) showed me a coin matrix routine by David Williamson that looked incredible. I think that I'll go for the examinable over the gimmicked version.

Thanks!
