I just wanted to post this video because I've always been a huge fan of David Stone. I think his movement and flow are second to none, and this video shows that in spades. He also executes his sleights flawlessly and has one of the best classic palms I've seen.

The video is in french, but the magic needs no translation.

Thanks for sharing. Don't worry about the size. I'm not quite sure why it posts YouTube clips with such a huge screen shot. I'll check and see if there is a way to adjust that.

I have David Stone's videos: Les bases de La magie des Pieces (Basic Coin Magic) and La magie des pieces (Coin Magic Vol 2). Sadly, I haven't had a chance to view either fully (I think maybe the dubbing / subtitles scares me off). Anyone offer any reviews of them?

I don't have those videos, but I've most definitely tried learning magic through voice over instructions. It makes learning a little more challenging depending on how well its translated. For instance, I recently purchased Total Recall by Manuel Llaser. I'm Mexican and can understand some Spanish, but man it's been a struggle getting through the explanation. It might just be me. I probably need to be a bit more patient.

Anyway, press through your fear of getting lost in translation and check those videos out and let us know what you think of them. If they're any good maybe I'll go out and buy them myself [smile]

I just got my copy of Hologram by David Stone in the mail, and while it isn't perfect, he speaks English on the DVD. Maybe his newer releases will have him speaking English and not a redub.

Yeah David Stone generally speaks really good English, so I'm not sure why he would restrict his audience by releasing his videos in French. but I agree with Rudy. Don't be put off by the dubbing. David Stone is one of the best sleight of hand artists I've seen and anything you can learn from him will be gold.

This is my first David Stone purchase, so I am excited to see what he has to offer on the entire DVD. Everyone seems to give him great praise.

i like his aproach to coin magic in fact i beleive the best way to start is to see his le magie des pieces , even more than reading bobo(all people is going to killme ajajaj)

but, in some place i believe he went .TOO COMERCIAL , but hey that is not good for me but it can be the major goal of someone and its good i respect that [smile]

Glad this came around again. Fantastic technique. His hands seem so empty all the time. I have seen David at 4F many times. Great guy too.

I had the two David Stone volumes on VHS years ago. There was absolutely no problems at all with the dubbing etc.

A great coin worker is David Stone.

I agree, David's fluidity and choreography are amazing.  There is a beautiful sequence on "The Real Secrets of Magic" video he put out some time ago.  I have been working on them for sometime!

David has just recently finished a lecture tour of the UK (prior to Christmas) and he visited the Island with his lecture. He is excellent with both cards and coins and has flawless technique. He mentioned to me that his original lecture DVD was in French but he would release another in English.

I love that bottle production! Yeah his coin magic is awesome too:-P. But ever since I saw Michael Ammar do his wine bottle production, I have wanted to do it. I think that is really a thing that looks like true magic.

Thanks for posting the video, Robert. Looks like I'm going to have to get a David Stone video now [smile].
