I took Dan and Dave up on their offer to take 10 bucks off of one of their downloads.

I ended up buying, "Placebo Eight". Anyway, as I was just perusing artofmagic.com, I noticed that one of our members has his magic featured on their site!!

Cool!! I especially like the look of "Grease Lightning"...

I purchased (and I'm now watching) Grease Lighting and really like it.
That Pughe's pass is a bit challenging, but I'm sure with some practice I'll get it. Never heard of that move (or George) before.

Good stuff, Dorian!

I did a Google search to learn a bit more about George Pughe.

I read that his pass was intended to be used as an alternative to the double lift.

"George Pughe way back in a 1949 issue of The Linking Ring under the title of, Pughe's Alternative to a Double Lift."

That's interesting. In what way would this replace a double lift?

Thank you Logan.

Now if you apply the same basic action, the card will go into palm a la Maurice Rooklyn

I have his DVD Avenue, Love his work and construction of Effects. i especially loved his time spent on "Pugh's Pass" something i had been using before in a multitude of ways, as a control, replacement, colour change etc

it was nice to see it mentioned!

Hi Fellas,

Some of you don't have access to the "Another Man's Treasure" section, but I don't want you to miss out on a great deal that Dorian is offering the members of this forum.

"I have 5 copies of my DVD (Avenue) left.  $10 bucks each

1 copy of the pocket Erdnase with the gold leaf pages complete with a bookmark.  Still in the shrink wrap.  $30.00"

Contact Dorian via PM or email if you're interested in taking him up on this offer.

I did have access and lost it and when I tried to again sign in using the same code I do for Secret Sessions the message that comes up was "incorrect password".

I tried to "re register" but when I put in my name I was told that my name has already been used (it has - by ME).

Not a big deal for me but for others that may have this problem this should be addressed.
