A work in progress (3 years) but I'm quite happy with how it's coming along. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Glenn to my eyes that's really good. I'll leave it to the more knowledgable guys to critique, mainly because I couldn't find anything to fault. Well done.

Nice job there Glen !

What's not to like about it ? I use a different grip than you do, i.e Jerry Camaro's version of the bottom deal on vhs tape.

Good stuff there Glen, thanks for sharing!

Great job Glenn, specially the rhythm. the only minor detail might be the movement of the thumb when your doing the bottom deal itself, if you look a it closely you can see its a little bit different form the regular deals, however I'm just being picky because you asked for pointer if I were you I'd consider it done and move to a another sleight. BTW do you use a metronome when you practice? your rhythm is almost perfect and in my opinion that's the most deceptive part of the move.

Hey Logan Five,
I have the Camaro Bottom Deal on DVD. I did mess around with the technique he teaches but found it was unreliable in my hands. The effects he teaches are worth the price of the DVD though and he does do the Bottom Deal perfectly.

Hi Viamagus
Yes you're right about the dreaded motionless thumb on the bottom take, sometimes there is a movement but most of the time there isn't. This is actually something I'm working on. For some reason though if I make a point of pushing over the top card while buckling the bottom finger flash happens more, so I guess it's eliminating one problem only to gain another. I might add strangely I don't seem to have this problems if I'm using the Erdnase method although that bottom deal has other issues that I'm not happy with yet. I don't use a metronome but having played the guitar for 20+ years this has maybe helped with inner rhythm? If that makes sense. Anyway thank you for the kind words and tips as all this helps
