I saw this in the email mailer. This is a very well-taught version of the change. Some Youtubers could stand to see this video.

Thank you Rudy for calling this to our attention. The adaptation of the Erdnase color change taught by Elliot Terrell in this video is top shelf. So magical, beautifully executed and clearly explained! I am immediately going to scrap my former method for the change and use this one.

Thanks Rudy and Art of Magic.  This was a really cogent explanation.  I have seen others teach it.  This was the best.

Going to be my usual pedantic self - but isn't this change actually The Houdini Change?

Whilst I've admittedly never been a student of Erdnase, I thought that this change as actually the brainchild of Harry Houdini?

He does it well enough but you can still see it being pushed forward if you watch carefully. I have never seen anyone do it as deceptively as they should.

Never learned a color change before.  This one looks very nice, but never had the part in my routine to use one.  Got it though but when the need arises.  Thank you!

For those interested, there are some nice touches on the change here as well: http://euanbingham.com/blogcomments.php?id=1

I just looked at this. Apart from the fact that he is very rude about our member Wesley James the problem of seeing the card move forward is still there. Again, it is covered relatively well but it does not have the Mark Lewis subtlety to obviate this but then I suppose nobody except myself has been let into the secret. Fortunately Mr Lewis is a very good friend of mine and tells me everything so I do know the subtlety. Alas I cannot reveal it here as it would break a confidence with him. Besides the real reason is that it is too complicated to explain and I am not Harry Lorayne where trying to explain sleights via the written word is concerned. I could probably do reasonably well if I exerted myself but alas it is too much of a hassle and I am far too lazy to bother. At least until I am in a good mood which happens very infrequently I am afraid.

Uh, Oh. I have just realised who Euan is! I has better say no more and let sleeping dogs lie methinks! Suffice it to say that it is not just Wesley he has been rude about!

I would be interested in hearing about your subtlety some day.

Regarding Euan, the rudeness of his character does not interest me. I'm interested in the technique, which to me looks great to me. I shared this because some members might it helpful.

Bevel them inwards at the outer end. That is the subtlety. I am disappointed that it was so simple to explain.
