Man. Someone needs to do themselves a favor and snatch this up.

So much incredible material in this book!

That's the problem I see - it's a new magic world - new people don't know about reading the good stuff!!  How sad.

I understand where you’re coming from, Harry.

That’s why my heart was compelled to produce the HaLo Project. My hope is that a new generation of young magicians will be introduced to the great stuff.

Some years ago that APOCALYPSE volume, at that price, would have been grabbed up in an instant - no, less than an instant.

Let me tell you...
I had a knee-jerk reaction to buy this; that's an AMAZING price!

Then, I realized that I already had TWO copies (One that I bought directly from Harry).

Sorry, Harry...
I hope you sell plenty, but I'm happy as heck to think that I get all of this exceptional, A-List material to myself.
😉

There is NO better value than a book.

Best regards,
Evan

I'm not trying to sell "plenty" or any, Evan. I probably don't have any of that number volume left to sell; haven't checked. Just amazes me, saddens me, that Alan didn't sell it instantly.

Along with the other volumes, there is, of course, a fantastic collection of material in this book.

As I mentioned initially I am only selling this because I have an extra copy. I acquired it when I purchased a lot of books that included other books that I did not have, and I figured that someone would snatch up the duplicates that I ended up with.

I haven't posted this anywhere else. I wanted to give first crack at it to a member here.

I have a complete set of the bound volumes that I will never sell. As has been said before, there is a lifetime of great material in the pages of Apocalypse. Arguably a lifetime of great material in just a single volume.

These volumes are “desert island” books. Simply the best collection of closeup magic ever.

I got on on "the ground floor" with Apocalypse. Once a month some killer magic would arrive. I liked the "bite sized" pieces. Also, there weren't tons of downloads, videos, YouTube etc to look at and distract you. You could focus on five or six items and then a month would go by and you'd get another issue.

The first item in the first issue was Paul Harris's "Interlaced Vanish." I loved it!

If you had the complete set of Apocalypse on a desert island, you'd never need anything else. There's so much gold in there.

Thanks Harry!

While I am guilty of purchasing new material, I am no stranger to books at all, and have quite a bit of the early stuff to look at now and again (including all 4 volumes of Apocalypse).

I love looking back in the old written material and always tell the 'new guys' they should do that as well. Much of the stuff being released today started there.

I'm still trying to get my mind around that recent flattering article about me by Jamy Ian Swiss.  Reminded of it because I recently received a phone call reminding me of some of the pretty-long-ago- posts - here and there - negative about me by Mr. Swiss.  We certainly weren't "friend" over the decades - no hugs and kisses! So, can't imagine why he "did" this current one. I guess he felt it was time to "tell the truth." I know I've posted the link here somewhere, but if you're interested try this:

Hi Harry, It seems to me that the title of his article is an admission that his "first take" may not have been what it should have, thus the need for a "second take" to try and get it right. In this new blog post, I would say that he nailed it.

I really enjoyed reading it. I'm glad that he sees the incredible contributions that you've made to the magic community and thanked you for them.

Whatever the reason for deciding to revisit your magic, I'm glad that he did.

Rudy
