Hello everyone! My name is Justin, and I've been interested in magic for years. I only just started performing a little over a year ago. I'm a junior in college and I've put on five shows on my campus for various groups. I also got to do magic in my television production class which was a nice treat. My slight of hand is lacking, and I'm finally trying to learn some. So far my biggest visual has been biting into an apple and pulling out a card. I look forward to meeting you all. Cheers!

I mostly do card stuff at the moment. A lot of forces and predictions, not a lot of sleight. I want to learn coin stuff at some point and also some parlor and stage magic soon.

If you want to learn coin magic I recommend erik jones's metal download at ellusionist.com. I currently am new to coin magic and just got that. It has plenty of sleights in it. It only has 4 tricks though. If you want to go more for tricks I think bobo's modern coin magic is good for tricks. I don't have it yet but I will get it once I get better at the sleights. I think the book is under 10 dollars so you could get these two together.

5 shows for various campus groups and you only do card magic.
Please tell us more about these shows.
How many people?
Type of venue?
Did you have a stage?
How long of a show?
How many people in attendance?

And welcome aboard.

In addition to other suggestions about coin magic its my opinion that you find some short trick/routine early on( like a Spell Bound or Matrix just for example) and practice that the whole time you are studying and learning about other things Next thing you know you'll look up and have at least one thing you've been working on for a whole year and it looks really good.
