Hey guys, I bought this trick 20 years ago and wanted to know the name. I lost the instructions years ago and would like to perform it again, if i knew the name of the trick and saw the effect described I could figure everything out again. I included photos, It has 3 regular coins, a half dollar, centavos and a Chinese coin and a 2 not so regular coins and the card. I don't remember the whole routine but you touch the card to a coin and it changes to another. I'm not sure if i can name any of the "secret" stuff on the open forum but I can send it via PM if anyone needs to know to help me identify this trick.

Looks like Lethal Tender with some extra coinage. I thought it was the transposition between a half and a Chinese coin.

Lethal tender! that's it! I knew it as soon as  Michael said it! hey, thanks a lot guys! i really appreciate your help

Now I'm wondering what those extra coins are for.  I loved magic with machined coins and collected many types but only have a few pieces left most of which are incomplete.  I'm pretty sure they came with this effect because they have the same working principle. It's been 18 years since I packed this away so I can't be sure. I was winding down from magic when I bought this  after taking in some magic in vegas.

By the way - Lethal Tender is a creation from the fertile mind of Steve Dusheck, and has been widely ripped off (unfortunately). Since there is Mexican coin, I suspect that this could be a combination of effects. Lethal Tender was done only using a Half and a Chinese coin (and the special something), and the playing card as displayed above. Perhaps the other coins are for Scotch and Soda? Maybe, if you have a bang-ring handy, you could find out in a jiffy.

Best wishes-

-Steve

The "non" Lethal Tender coins look like they could be a Copper/Silver/Brass (CSB) set.  In the 2nd picture it looks like the chinese coin is nested over the copper coin.  If that's the case, and it looks like a half dollar when you flip the nested pair over, it's definitely a CSB.
