Hey guys. Long time no post. Thought I'd stop in and say boo!

Update: I just bought Giacomo Bertini's System For Amazement. My fellow coin guys, prepare for pain and frustration and joy. And pinky cramping.

Not an update, but a brainstorm: I'm now involved in a semi-local burner event, a festival of art and performance and camping off the grid, all with a post-apocalyptic theme. Summer camp by way of Fury Road.

It's also why I haven't been around. Work all day then meet with fellow artist types and work all night.

Anyway. I'm brainstorming with a few to do a after the bombs went off show using repurposed stuff to build illusions. Junk magic, if you will, or diesel-punk prestidigitation. If anything sparks let me know as we can really use help fleshing out the concept.

Ta for now!

Sounds, uh, interesting. Pre-post-apocalyptic planning for the arts. Just hope it's not an EMP or even you guys will be SOL!

Hex is Bertini's work full of the pinky balance?  I had his first effort, and while it looked good in his hands (but tough angles) not for the average worker.

Tom, yes. It's not easy work. The pinky balance is my new four letter word. Having said that, the first chapter, on Bertini's classic palm, is mind blowing. Just that chapter, to my thinking, was worth the price of entry.

Anthony, just think. EMP, no more YouTube exposures. [wink]
