Hi Everyone,

I'm sad to share the news of the passing of one of our members. Ken Fogelstrom (Amazer) fought a courageous battle with cancer. We had many conversations over this past year and it was encouraging to see him walk that difficult journey with hope, joy, and faith. He knew that his time on this earth was short and lived every day like it was his last.

This morning, he moved on from this world to the next one. I'm a better person for having known him.

His wife told me that his memorial service will either be held on December 20 or the 21st in Connecticut. I'll keep you posted when I have further details.

I expressed my condolences on behalf of our forum and asked if there was anything that we could do to serve her and the rest of Ken's family, but she said that all they want is our prayers.

It's moments like these that remind me of how important it is for me to focus my attention on the things that matter most in this life.

Rest in peace, Amazer. You truly lived up to that name.

Rudy

And I hope that the "Ken Fogelstrom Magic Mentorship Program" can be started soon as per his suggestion and wishes...

Oh man! I am deeply shocked, I had recently a short conversation with him without knowing about his real conditions! That  is really a great loss for our community, I had fun reading his comments and thoughts.
My condolences and deep thoughts and prayers go to Ken´s family.
Thank you Rudy for having informed us and for giving him spiritual counsel through his hard time!

R.I.P. Ken,

Axel

Aw, man. So long, Ken.

I was stunned by the spirit and strength with which you made your final passage.

So sad to hear the news... It was good to know you, Ken, if only virtually.

My best to Ken's family.

The passing of a friend always fills me with regret that I did not make more effort to know them better ... and the determination to do better from now on.

I'd like all my friends on TMF to know how much I value you - we may never meet in person, but I am better for knowing you.

For those who are able to attend Ken’s memorial service, here are some of the details about date, time and place. His obituary also gives us a little bit more information about who Ken was.

Thanks, Rudy. There's also an option on the site to add a message for Ken's family, in case anyone is interested.
