THE Ultimate 4-way-out envelope

Imagine an ingenious envelope that will deliver the correct prediction, no matter which of 4 possible outcomes occurs! YOU ARE COVERED!

Every mentalist needs a 4-way-out envelope! There any many available, but none allow you to do the following:
  • Have the envelope signed
  • Keep the envelope in full sight during the show
  • Have the spectator take out the prediction
  • Show the envelope empty
  • Have a large folded sheet of paper in the envelope
  • No Slits, etc.
SWITCH-A-LOPE by Arnaud allows you to do all of the above!!

Thanks for the review, but I can say that every mentalist does not need a four way envelope, lol.

Actually it sounds good and a plus is the visibility of the prediction. But in the mentalism literature there are various ways of switching prediction envelopes that may have been in the possession of others during a show, usually for headline predictions etc.

I wouldn't buy this, now, years ago, maybe. If I did I'd use it for a cheeky Al Mann headline prediction that appeared in "The H Factor" . I used to do it with 2 two way envelopes, one in either side of a Himber wallet, though I incorporated a presentational angle from J.G. Thompson and Ned Rutledge which appeared in "Between Two Minds". A good little mental book, it can now be obtained as a pdf: https://trickshop.com/between-two-minds.html

That's basically what THIS is .... a way of (as you say) "switching prediction envelopes that may have been in the possession of others during a show, usually for headline predictions etc."

My first thought would be Bob Cassidy's Chronlogue. One of my favorite effects. His idea was just to have a single card in 4 different pockets. But this way, I eliminate pockets all together and the card now comes from a single envelope that's been in plain view the entire time.

Boom

Can you elaborate on that? Would you take an envelope from a spectator and then put it in the big window envelope? I don't get it.

That occurred to me also, why would you take an envelope a spectator had  been in charge of then stick it in another container to display it for later in the show.

But a useful multiple out idea for a prediction a spectator had not been in possession of.

I agree. I think it would be a nice stage prediction that remains in sight at all times. I just want clarification on the audience member holding the prediction in the beginning.
