NOT a book test. But, rather certain effects or tricks done with a book, making a page in a book disappear to be found somewhere else,or certain predictions using a book, you get the idea.
Thanks in advance for sharing. Best,

Booked by Steve Valentine has one of the best Pegasus Pages of all time (in my opinion). A friend of mine closes his show with it.
Andrew Gerard has a keen idea on using the hoy book test for a drawing dup. Because of AG, I now keep and art book in my house. It's a collection of impressionist paintings and has a sketch I am comfortable with "counterfeiting".
Warlock by Andy Nyman is very good and uses the book as a prediction. I've never used it, but I can see why it would get really good reactions.
Even though you would have to make your own journal, I would suggest Weekly Cartomancy by Pablo Amira. If you do purchase it, I'd be happy to share my ideas with you. It's something I do all the time in casual situations and it kills.
I also have a routine I'd be happy to share with you if you send me a private message. It's still in it's early workings, but I think you might enjoy it. __________________ Fortune favors the bold.

Here's something from StevePR104 written in another thread last August. I thought it was a great idea at the time and still do, though I have not had the chance to try it out.
Here's what Steve wrote in his post: Guys...try this with cookbooks from your local Goodwill store. Do the 1089 force. Go to page 108 in the book, and have them count down to the ninth ingredient. You produce it from your jacket, or it's in the sealed bag on the table...or whatever. This *works;* if you want to see it in action, send me a private message...I shot some video last week at a show. Oh, and since the books are less than $2 a shot, you can *give* them the cookbook at the end of the effect, which will always throw some folks in the audience for a loop. I would imagine the offer is still available - PM Steve to find out! Edited to clarify that the quote is from StevePR104 on a previous thread.
