Decembers edition of Mr Close’s newsletter has a wonderful tribute to The late great Ricky Jay and a lovely feature on Harry (only a few weeks after Ian Jamy Swisse’s recollections - they do know you’re still alive and kicking don’t they Harry?) with an effect from Deck-sterity that will take a nice portion of my day, today (as I’m still off work and on the crutches!)

Anyway if you don’t subscribe to this newsletter get on it. It is top drawer.

You can subscribe for free here

Best

Mike does a great job with that newsletter, very lucky he's finding the time to do that.

I'm so glad that you bumped this thread, Gareth. I just found the link to the newsletter in my "promotions" bin at my gmail account. His newsletter reads like a magic magazine!
I'll be taking some time this morning to read through the effect that Harry submitted for this newsletter.

It's going to be fun catching up on the last 11 issues.

(Thanks Mike!!)

Rudy

The lastest issue of Michael Close's newsletter contains an article on memory by Harry Lorayne  (and a ton of other good stuff too).

Hi Robin Dawes.
Could you please tell me what registering to this website michaelclose, will do? I have no understanding at all about it but since I have to register my email adress it would be nice to know what I could expect… Like I read there is a free magazine, what does this magazine contain? Are there any other benefits of joining this website?

Jim,

I subscribed to Michael's site after Robin suggested doing last year, and receive his newsletters, which are always informative. Michael occasionally sends out adverts about new products, but other than that he is too busy to bother with a lot of nonsense. If you subscribe and don't enjoy the experience, you are always free to unsubscribe.

You have nothing to loose.....it's a free magic magazine. If you just find one thing  that you might be able to use, you are still a winner.

Another free mag that you might be interested in is: http://www.vanishmagic.com/

I agree with everything that's been said! Thanks to Mike for putting out such a great newsletter all for the cost of... nothing 😉

Good stuff from a great guy!
