Ponta has a new DVD out - "Secret: Vol. 2." I have had Sick for a couple of years and can't seem to master any of the entire routines on that DVD. The big problem for me is that I can manage like 80% of a routine from Sick, but get stymied by a few moves - almost always the "juggling" of a coin where he tosses a con from one hand to the other and catches it in Spellbound position, or when he uses a muscle pass for the same thing. Is there anyone here who is into Ponta that can speak to whether it would be worth it to get the new DVD when I can't seem to replicate any of the routines from Sick? Thoughts? Thanks!

Ponta is on another level. I have the Sick DVD too and in one routine in the explanation, the camera is over his shoulder an what is going on is totally amazing. A lot of that stuff can have really bad angles. There's a review of the DVD in the May 2018 Genii. While he gave it a recommended rating, he didn't seem overly taken by it.

I wouldn't bother with that stuff. You already do lots of good coin magic. The new Latta book will keep you busy.

I love the Sick DVD. To try and master those routines would mean it would be the only thing I worked on for the next 10 years. I still like it and use it more for inspiration or do my version of something he does. still a great learning tool.
