The options with a deck of card are endless... but I am curious to know, other than 'Out of this World', what sort of effects you guys enjoy which utilize the red and black nature of the cards?

One of my favorites is a 4-stage Lewis Jones effect called DOP - it stands for Dermatological Optical Perception, or as Lewis says "Seeing with the fingers, if you want it in plain terms" - this is a neat little effect with 12 cards and in the final phase even the spectator can sense which of the cards are red and black.

I have also been playing around with an effect I discovered in the 2nd of Karl Fulves self-working card books, the name of which I cannot quite recover from my brainbox at this time.

I'm not sure "Oil and Water" could fit this when you use a small packet of cards, the reds stand for water and the black ones for oil, specially when as the climax, you separate the reds from the blacks as well.

Aldo Colombini's Contact Colors is another routine where at the end you separate the colors.

Any routine where you go from 'caos to order' and that separates the colors...

I really enjoy Harry’s “Color Gathering Plus” and “Chaos” by Pit Hartling.

I actually perform both of these together. “Chaos” sets me up for Harry’s effect.

I think "Oil And Water" qualifies. I've never used the O&W theme anyway.

But away from OOTW and its many variations and permutations, "Miraskill" is my favourite.

And back when I had the ability to show off a bit I was also partial to "Call To The Colors". Still am.

Always fancied giving Harry's 'Red and Black Fantasy' from Personal Secrets a shot - anybody use this one, and if so how does it play for you?

Another featuring the Reds and Blacks that comes to mind is 'Pre-Deck Ability' by Aldo Colombini, more of a prediction but the colors definitely come into play, and it's interactive [smile]

Red and Black Fantasy is a great trick.  Laymen are clueless.  Like any trick, the presentation is important but it is a fooler.

I love red and black tricks.Harry Lorayne has several versions of spectator cutting the ace i use one of them and at the finish show that the spec.has not only cut to the aces but also seperated the reds from the blacks.

Here is one of my own tricks that has a red and black finish.
