Visual and surprising. The spread reveals the nature of the deck to anyone familiar with such things, and while I am seeing this through the eyes of a magician, I cannot help but wonder if the size of the spread might not at least make a spectator curious... Dunno. Take with two grains of salt and call me in the morning. Perhaps and abbreviated in-hands spread instead of the tabled spread?

Also, unless your style is naturally frenetic, slow down a bit. The visual nature of the trick begs for time to take it all in.

Thanks for sharing your work with us!

I did wonder about the spread! I do the effect standing as well and it does take away that bit of "Hmmmm"! So its Good/Bad to know that it is a bit noticeable! As for the speed. The banter does slow it down a bit!!!

Thank you for your reply
Have a wonderfully magical day from Tay27

The first sequence of turning the cards red needs work.  makes no sense you cut the deck show the top card then the bottom card of that top half to be red.  Then you kinda speed up and wave red half over the blue half, do a funky turnover of the bottom  card dumping on the top.  It is all a little much.

Then when the cards are red you go through some more movement only to very quickly pull out the second card?  It looked like, (I'm not saying it is) but what it looked like is that you were trying to hide the fact you were pulling out the second card, which is suspicious.

However the concept is very good.  The execution is almost there. would be better if you could slow it down and get rid of the awkward movements.

One tip.  When you first change the colour of the deck by cutting it.  Tilt the cards towards yourself so we don't see that you cut to a red card.  Then when the deck comes together (completing the cut) tilt your hands down so we see it at that moment, which will look like the deck has changed magicially, not that you cut to a red card.

There is a great effect if you can find it.  Three Phase Color Changing Deck.  I am not sure if it is still on the market.  But it is a much cleaner and simpler way of performing the effect, and even if you don't use the routine, it would give you great tips on how things should look.

Whatever you do keep at it.  On the whole?  Good stuff so far.
