Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone had got the last of Eugene Burger's books this yet and if so what they thought of it?

If it's any help at all, John Lovick offers a pretty thorough review of the book in the January 2018 issue of Genii Magazine.

I have recently finished reading Part 1: Reflections on Teaching and Learning, Part 2: Essays for Students and Part 4: Q&A.  I have only perused Part 3: Performance Pieces, but I can say that Eugene's Final Transposition which is a version of the the classic U.F. Grant Slow Motion Bill Transposition is an excellent item. I am in the process of creating the very cool gaffed bill. It's the best I have seen.

The book is loaded with great advice from Eugene. I found it to be a great motivator for improvement. Eugene has a way of making you want to practice, rehearse and improve.
