I'm familiar with 'most' techniques to reverse top card (in the middle of deck).

I came up with one which looks like a simple swivel cut.
I'm still practicing to make it smoother (very poorly executed cut in the video), and with no sound at all!
Let me know what you guys think, and also if you've seen this concept of a sleight before!

Haha! How the heck did you do that?!

So a long time ago I played around with a color change using a sleight I use in this reversal. Basically top card goes under the pack reversed, then you just have to cut. The cool thing is that it can be done in one motion (again, need to practice more for it to actually be ONE motion).

Glad you liked it! We can pm if you're interested [wink]

Very nice!  I just played with this for like 45 minutes and I can't get it to not talk either.
But in the end, after re-watching video of it, I think the other benefits far outweigh the
noise, so I would just talk over it.  It is smooth enough that I think it will go completely
undetected.

You're absolutely right, and any time I use it, I slightly move my body, hands and talk at the same time

Here's a silent solution.  Take the card and control it to the top.  Now, just put the top card into Finley Tent Vanish position, and rotate it quietly under the deck using your other hand as shade (using your fingers to pull it under), then cut/pass the deck.  Voila.  The chosen card is now in the middle, face up. Silently.

In terms of revelation, you could have a card returned....controlled to the top.  Then, DL showing an indifferent card...saying that card will help you find the selected card, turn the DL down....and off you go.  (Doing this also has the advantage of allowing you to peek the chosen card before you rotate it under.  Use this information as you best see fit.)

It is indeed silent, but you do have to "put the card in tent position", and "vanish" it, which shows action. Which is GREAT if that's what you're going for, but what if you just want to reverse the card completely unnoticed? (for example if you use two decks and you want the reversed card revealed as a spectator prediction)

Thank you for the advice Steve, the "vanish to reversed in the center" is a trick just by itself!
