There is a conversation going on in the Session Room about an effect by Paul Harris called, "Rip-off Reverse". It's in the Art of Astonishment volume 1.

I believe that what I'm demonstrating here accomplishes a very similar effect. It's like David Williamson's, "Torn and Restored Transpo". With that said, it's not really the same setup or handling that he teaches, so I'll call it "Torn and Restored Rip-Off".

I like it Rudy, very nice. I once published a torn and restored transpo in  one of my early books called Piece by Piece Transpo. It made a reappearance in "Magic From The Overground" I think. I'd have to check. I also seem to recall Ken Brooke sold one many years ago called Versa Plus. That, like mine, incorporated  a DF. My routine dates back to the mid eighties. If I can find it on the computer I'll post it on the forum, Might appeal to some.

I'd love to see "Piece by Piece Transpo". Thanks Paul!

Rudy, that was great!  I loved the way you simplified the complex.  I am beginning to form an opinion that Paul Harris' material, while fantastic, is ripe for the development of creative alternative solutions.  Thats what Craig Allen did last week in the session, and it was brilliant.

So thats my challenge to myself.  Look up a random Paul Harris trick, and see if I can simplify it.

Thanks Rudy.  and have a wonderful thanksgiving
