I'm excited about the Allan Ackerman lecture which takes place Nov. 18th. I am a big fan of Allan's work. Don't miss this! It's going to be very cool.

Allan probably doesn't remember this but 20 years ago on Mother's Day he lectured at my Bike and Magic shop. It was a great lecture and looking forward t this also.

On top of being talented, Allan is a great guy.  Took him out to breakfast and hung out before the lecture at rready's shop.

Allan's love of card magic is unsurpassed. He delights in watching any card trick. Here's a picture from one of the Marlo Summits circa 2012. You can see the sheer delight in his smile. Solomon looks mystified. Ackerman just loves what he is seeing.

Indeed he is a great guy. One of magic's treasures.

He's great. When I was a teenager, my dad bought me his false deals DVD.
Here's a nice video I had saved of him in my private YouTube "Card Manipulations" playlist:

CQ,

I have that same false deals video and learned a lot from it. He is very good at false dealing. I also learned a lot from his Las Vegas Card Expert video, when someone asks me to do something with the cards, I'll do Quick Coincidence or Impromtu Ultra Mental most of the time.

Both Quick Coincidence and Impromptu Ultra Mental are in Allan's OOP book, "Here's My Card." Pick up this great book if you ever have a chance. It's hard to find.

Very much indicative of Ackerman's style - quick, direct and strong.

Allan is one of the card men there is. I learned so much from him when I was living in Las Vegas Allan's Bro. Hamman videos are great to look at as well
