I'm looking for Joe Riding's 1985 "Ultimate Cards Across" manuscript. I've found a few sources that look like they're selling counterfeits, but I'd like a legit copy.

Thanks,

This is a very difficult manuscript to source, as it never (unfortunately) became one of Joe's top sellers. It's a multi-phase, close-up routine that has Joe's usual creative, brilliant thinking. I'd have loved to have put my old mate's complete works into a book.

May I ask, what inspired you to look into this routine?

I used to do Joe Riding's Counting the Cards years ago and am putting it back in some of my shows. I learned it from the T-A-T lecture: An Evening with Joe Riding. I didn't know until recently that it was ever in print and I'd like to see if there's any more information than in the lecture.

Barry, I thought someone was trying to put together a book on Joe's magic?

Hi Tom,

I wanted to some years ago.

However, when I spoke to Pam (Joe's Daughter) about the idea some years back, she wanted it to be released as an eBook.

I put a lot of value on Joe Riding's material; far too much to be put into an eBook - only for it to be 'shared' by people that don't deserve to have it in the first place.

Best regards,

Barry

Thanks Barry, I thought it was family related, odd her insistence on an ebook.

Joe’s material was a huge influence on me in the 90’s, especially his Think-of-a-Card work. I’m going over my decades old paper notes for Counting the Cards as I review my old T-A-T VHS tape (No. 0224).

Joe's Think-a-card work has held me in good stead for over 25 years.

I think L&L still offer the 'Evening with Joe Riding' tape as a download at a good price.

Send me a private message dear chap.
