I see that US Playing Card Company allows you to make custom decks of playing cards.  They deal directly with customers if they order 1000 decks.  Just wondering what is the pricing per deck if you order these 1000 custom decks?

Has this forum ever collaborated and made custom gaff decks with regular Bicycle backs?  Is it possible to order custom cards from them with the original Bicycle back which matches the color perfectly?

Seems like it would be a lot of fun to make a custom gaff deck, where all the magicians here have input on what gets added.

I am going to guess that David Blaine uses US Playing Card Company for his White Lions (etc) decks?  Probably ordering 1000 time.

Jennifer, many custom cards are printed by USPCC including many of those offered by Theory11 and others.

What USPCC changed a few years ago is they began to refuse to alter any of the trademarked aspects of their cards which includes the back design, the ace of spades and the jokers.

Many companies are concerned about "diluting their brand".  The Rider Back 808 design is iconic and they now refuse to alter it in any way that in their opinion harms the "brand".

They will still make double-backers, double-facers and such, but there are limits now as to what they will or won't do.

For that reason and others is why you find the Mandolin Back cards and Maiden Back.  They will do whatever you want with those!

It might be fun though for TMF members to design a custom, gaffed deck.  You used to be able to buy assorted gaffs in a pack for cheap.  Last time I bought them they were about $5.00 I think.  The deck had blank facers, blank backs, double-facers and double-backs, etc.

Would be nice to be able to get a deck with all of the above but in addition to that have a set of Three Card Monte aces, a Wildcard set, a 3 1/2 of Clubs, etc., etc.

P.S.  A set of MacDonald's Aces would be sweet too.

Jennifer, please take a look at this video.  David does incredible reviews!  He touches on a lot of options concerning Bicycle Rider Back gaffs here.
