Tomorrow I will have a temporary crown on my tooth removed and a permanent one installed. I plan on asking if I can keep the temporary in the hope I'll be able to come up with a magic routine using it.

Any suggestions along those lines?

I kept my kidney stones after passing them (very painful) and now use them for final loads in a mini chop cup routine.

There is a magician, I think he's from Spain or Portugal, who pulls his tooth out, makes it vanish, and it appears back in his mouth.

I can't remember his name though.

I'm not sure if you do any kids shows but I imagine something with a tooth fairy patter would work well. Maybe change it into money with a switching device or a modified spellbound change. Just brainstorming here.

Follow-up: When they removed the temporary crown it was demolished. My dentist graciously gave me five new ones at no charge.

Now you can do the old 'two in the hand, one in the pocket' routine and have one end up in your mouth.  Perhaps as a climax produce a set of chattering teeth?

I'd already thought of the "two in the hand", but the chattering teeth idea is great.
