I've heard Richard Osterland's Breakthrough Card System is a great cyclical stack and the pattern can't be easily detected unlike Si Stebbens.
But I am curious, can the stack be shuffled into from NDO? Also is it tetradistic or can it be easily transformed into a stay stack? I read post after post on the Internet how great BCS is but no one mentioned if you can shuffle into it or not.. and whether or not it is tetradistic or can be transformed easily into stay stack.

you are quite busy here with a lot of good thinking! Let it roll! You know already the main features of the BCS, it is a cyclical stack with no recognizable pattern, it looks totally random... but with a quite easy formular you can always determine the next card in the stack, like with the Si Stebbins order. That´s all, no tetradistic arrangement, no stay stack and to my knowledge there is also no way to get into from NDO. It is mainly constructed for the use in Mentalism not for card magic. Richard offers also a system with Harry´s pegged system to use it as an memorized deck. It doesn´t sound like much but the system is really genius, it looks totally random, you could hand it to a spectator and she/he will never find anything (I know you wouldn´t do that and it is not advisable) and you have, when you use it as a memdeck, the mathematical system as your back-up, if you don´t remember card no.23 in memwork but perhaps no. 21 then you can use the mathematical system to get to card no. 23 Hope it helps! All the best, Axel
