If we get enough folks interested, we can do this tomorrow. If not, next Saturday?

Thanks for the suggestion, Gareth!

Happy Birthday. Thanks to Harry for being Harry. Thanks to Rudy for carrying enough about a legend to start this. Thanks to the moderators at the green thing for kicking Harry and Rudy out. And thanks to everyone else for keeping it real and keeping it civil.

At the session do we have to present something? Or can I just watch?

Hi Fellas, I will post the link to register for the session at about 12:45 PM. For some reason, I am unable to create a link on my mobile device and I don’t have my computer.

I look forward to seeing you all. You’ll be the first to hear about our next lecturer!

Can someone tell the "uninitiated" how to hook up with this through the link?
I just might be able to participate.

I'm heading to Las Vegas to get out of this cold! Brrrr!!

Next week is Magi-Fest. I'd love to participate, but it looks unlikely.

Steven, just click on this link and it will prompt you for your email address. After you've registered, and just before 2pm, keep your eye out for an email from you. I'll pull you into the call.

Mike, safe travels!! You'll be missed!

Sorry Harry! I saw that you were logged in for a bit. Were you able to see some of the video?

I was a little late for the session (running some errands) and came home and there was a lot of noise (cleaning and cooking) so I could not join on screen. Maybe next time I'll share what I have been practicing lately.

It was a great session as always!

Haha!  When I read the title for this post, I thought it was going to be a session about birthday party shows!

Rudy thanks for the session and thanks to everyone sharing ideas/techniques. It was fun and inspiring to see things done and discussed in an informal environment.

If I can find an anonymous hacker mask I might be brave enough to join the video feed in the next session.

Hello Rudy and session members -- I just wanted to thank ALL of you for a terrific session -- lot's of stuff, lot's of very cool moves, routines, and ideas (and I am VERY sorry I talked too much!).  It was very cool to have a couple of the "big guns" contributing to the session as well with excellent magic (thanks Nicholas, Steven, and for at least a moment, Harry Lorayne!).  Gareth, I overlooked the Vigil routine from ReelMagicMagazine -- thanks for demonstrating it.  Andru, I loved that switch you demonstrated - thanks a bunch for that!  [By the way, the Bro. Hammon switch I referred to is the "swivel switch", in his Marx Brothers routine, p. 234-235].   Dave, I'm glad you enjoyed my version of the Bannon routine.  Rudy, very special thanks for setting everything up and for always demonstrating real "workers" for us!  For all Forum members, these kinds of sessions are what make this the best forum online!  Looking forward to the third year and many more years to come!  johnny

Thank you Rudy and thanks Johnny. I do think your collusion is an improvement.

I was watching and when you started dealing cards face down I was sure you'd messed up. How could I have doubted JohnnyNewYork![tongue] ?...and johnny Bicycle cards can be tracked down in brick and mortar shops in Australia but they aren't easy to find, at least in Tas. If i do find them they are $9.95 (US$7.90) a deck! Last week I ordered my first ever packs of Tally-Ho's! I can't wait. I won't tell you what they cost from an Australian supplier you'll fall off your chair.

On re-watching the recording, my idea of writing HAPPY BIRTHDAY TMF was a late thought about 10 mins before the session that was ill-advised. On the video this kills the apparent mixing process and thus the effect. My apologies to you guys and Mr Vigil. I thought I'd better mention here that that is not in Paul Vigil's original write up.

If you are interested in this cracker of an effect (despite my shocking effort) you'll find it when you subscribe here.

http://www.reelmagicmagazine.com/

or when they next have a free access weekend!

Thanks David, Andru, Aljaz and Steven.

And Rudy, Oh man we need to do all we can to assist Harry in getting in on a session.

Happy birthday to the Forum! I saw the notice for the session after it had already taken place. Maybe next time.

Thank you for the reference, Johnny!

That was a lot of fun. I'll try and make more of them in the future!
