TomG who is a moderator on this forum is a good friend of Bob King's and he had him do a couple of lectures in my shop in the 90's. Bob is mostly known for his books on the Breather Crimp also put out some cool packet tricks.

He has a nice control of the 4 aces that is in one of his pamphlets. Here it is.

Tony, that is beautiful card work! Must admit that I watched three times and burned your hands... Sure, I have a guess or two, but even if I'm right so what?! It felt great to be fooled.

I had the opportunity to see Bob King perform and lecture in the late 80s or early 90s and really enjoyed the experience.

Thanks for sharing,

Av

Yep, Bob is a very clever guy. Liam Montier just re-released one of his packet effects not long ago, but I think Bob will be remembered more for his Magician Foolers. Saw him lecture a couple of times and used to say hello when he traveled to the Blackpool conventions until his health deteriorated.

Nice performance.

Okay, that control did indeed surprise me the first time. Like Anthony, I came up with a couple ideas in the scramble to reconstruct it and regain my mental footing afterward. (Terrible habit. Why not just enjoy things?)

I like your performance videos, rready.

I corresponded with Bob a while back and he was really, very kind.
He sold the rights to his Breather Crimp material to a very well known magician (yes, you know him) who is hopefully going to update them, and re-publish everything in a single volume.

At least I hope so...

I have it wrong. It's called Supreme control and it's in Breather 2. The one in my video doesn't use a crimp though.
