I've included a link for a huge book, 25 years in the making, by Paco Nagata (his stage name).  He's from the Spanish school and it's a full 500+ pages.  Paco is generous enough to share this for free.

Thanks Tom.  There are a host of topics he discusses that have been discussed here on the forum recently.  I intend to give this a thorough read.

I'm finding a lot of interesting things in this book.  With its size it will take a while though.

This is a VERY generous gift!

A quote from Page 39:

"In magic stores you do not buy magic, but tricks. Magic can only be purchased at home through practise, rehearsal, study, dedication, love and passion."

Yes Robin, a real labor of love from Paco.  And to share it, well you don't see that very often, 20 years of work.

Thank you very much to everybody for your kind comments!
And sorry for being so late in joining The Magicians Forum!

I have been doing a lot of repair and improvement in the book, regarding erratums, false cognate or false friends, spelling and grammar mistakes in the English version, as well as improving some poor descriptions of certain card routines that I have noticed kind of difficult to understand.
I have also improved some historical references making them more detailed and accurate...
Of course, those changes don't altere at all the general content of the book, but only make easier its understanding.
So then, I really recommend to everybody that downloaded it once, to download it again and to replace it to have it much better.
Again, endless thanks to everybody for all your appreciation and consideration!

Wow...

Welcome aboard, Paco, and thanks for your generous link to your book... From looking at the Contents pages, I'm thinking that will take some time to read!!

Paco, I am loving your book. It’s in that category that I would say is a ‘beautiful book’. Are you intending to eventually make it an actual hard copy-put into my physical library- type book? I would certainly be interested.

Writing is hard work. Write - Revise - Edit - Lather, Rinse Repeat.....etc. etc.

While I am a fan of hard copy, this is where the eversions shine. It's what been long promised, but seldom materializes.

Great job, Paco.

The three most important things in my life are: My wife, my son and this book. So, you can imagine how happy you make me telling that it is a beautiful book :-)
Thank you very much!
I have never printed it out since I consider it finished (in November, 8th 2014) Now that I have revised it once and again to make corrections and improvements during years, I believe that with the last update (five days ago; December 6th) It would be worth to print it out, specially since you told me that it is a beautiful book. However, honestly I think that it is ok to have it as an e-book. I've never intended to take it to a publisher since I'm nobody. My purpose were just to share my card magic life with any card magic lover's life.
I'm afraid that one cannot get printing that book cheap, so It would be quite ok keeping it as a e-book. Anyway if you would like to have it in your libary physically, please, feel free to print it out!

Dear friends of TMF,

My great friend, Jan Isenbart had the kind gesture of designing a beautiful and suitable cover for this book.
Yes, finally this book has a cover. Shame on me that I had not designed any yet, always thinking that I will do it later... The thing is that I couldn't make my mind up for it...
But now I'm glad for not having designed any yet by myself, since it is specially valuable for me to say that it was designed by my friend Jan. It means a lot to me; something like when a friend of you write the "Introduction" of your book.
Jan not only did it, but did a good job. The cover fits perfectly the nature of the book; passion and love for the art of card magic.
Jan Isenbart is not a member of this Forum (as far as I know), but a member of The Genii Forum as "Zig Zagger". He must be very busy since he has a very entertaining and interesting blog about magic I would like to recommend:

https://zzzauber.wordpress.com/

Right after the cover I have added a few words of gratitud for the platforms that have kindly provided me the chance of sharing this e-book with so many great and nice magicians, like The Magician's Forum.

The only thing you have to do to get this updated version of the book is to download it again from the same link (above my sign).
You can delate the other if you want, since it is exactly the same but with the cover (and some spelling corrections ;-)

Thank you for your attention.

My best wishes to all!

Paco

Thanks!

It's a wonderful book on many levels. It's really nice to see someone taking advantage of being able to update electronic products. Something  always promised, but seldom done.
