As the sun shines I sit here contemplating a different direction. The weather outside is beautiful, so only the craziest folks would be indoors.

So I'm wondering about busking in the current climate - how would it be to experience a new town with a crowd paying you to perform?

Tomorrow I shall begin 🧙‍♂️

I hope the weather holds. It was cold here yesterday, today is warmer and much more pleasant. But....

We haven't had any rain since Friday. That's borderline miracle country for England. [wink]

Socrates, what state are you in?

I live in upstate NY and am worried if I did busk that I'd be ticketed for creating an "event" that goes against social distancing guidelines: wearing a mask and keeping at least 6 ft apart.
Although, I drove through an area Saturday night and the local bar scene didn't seem to encourage any of this either - very little masks seen, people bunched together.

I'm in England, counties and all that, but I confess I'm in a terrible state. [smile]

Looking around, it seems to me that the UK is hurtling towards full lockdown again. Thousands upon thousands ignoring every safety measure and putting us all at risk.

As Rayj noted, I'm also looking forward to hearing about Socrates's adventures.
Busking in the present climate may be small scale, compared to the  flockers who are flocking to the coast, but I'm not sure it's wise for performer or public.

But, then what do I know. [smile]  [confused]
