Hello. I once saw a Trick and Treat with Magic Hands episode putting cups on a book and then turning the book upside down and the cups remained stuck. I learned many tricks from that show when I was a kid but missed that particular reveal back then so am trying to find it. Can anyone tell me about it?

I think that show was showing tricks that could be done at home with self made props so I am not looking for some commercial gimmick set or anything. Does anyone know how Magic Hands actually did it and share?

Hello, and welcome to The Magician's Forum. I am not personally familiar with the show you cite. Where was it broadcast? Europe, Asia, America, Canada? We have magicians from around the world here, so odds are someone may have what you seek. For the rest of us a bit more info would be helpful.

The effect is called Anti-Gravity Glasses and can be found in Routined Manipulation Finale by Lewis Ganson.  Available at magic suppliers online.  I saw it available at Vanishing, Inc. along with the first two books of the series.  If you are into manipulation, such as thimbles, biliiard balls and cards, it is a great series of books.
