Hi all,
I was thinking of adding an option on my website of have a customizable close-up mat/pad; ie, have your name or logo on it on a corner or in the middle of an edge.

Would that be a good idea? Also, how much are you willing to pay for something like this?

I will post some pictures next week with some samples. I am still working on a way of having a durable print on the mat using different colors. It won't be embroidered.

Or maybe add a piece of an aluminum or wooden plate with an engraving?? Let me know what you think

Your input is highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Here is the first prototype. Not the greatest outcome yet, but I will do some tweaks to make it look crisp and cool. Let me know what you think.

The idea is that the logo (or your magic name) will be facing your audience. I think it would be a nice touch of class and advertising 😉

Thanks in advanced for your appreciated feedback.

It's a neat idea for sure! I don't often get to perform with a close up pad so I don't use one in practice regularly, so I don't know if I would be your target market, but I would expect to pay around $40 for a customized pad. I'm basing that off of Murphy's Magic Deluxe Pad that you can get a 16x23 pad for $25

Thanks for your feedback GregB. I think I can offer it for less than $40 if people are interested.

Looks great Peter! Some of the custom pads have names and symbols all over the place. I prefer the simplicity you're showing in the sample.

Thank you Mike. I think keeping it simple is better so people aren't distracted from the magic.
