Here's a new concept for the classic 'Coins Through Table' plot

Hope you like it. Let me know what you know what you think..

Very nice.   My favorite is at 43sec.   One of my favorite coin moves.  Although, in the 4 coins across routine I perform, I do that same thing but up higher in the air above the table.  Ariel style.

Overall smooth handling and nice story.  It relates to many of us, I think.  I know I gave up after digging about 6ft, but it is cool to bring in the aspect that someone on the other side of the world is digging toward us.

This topic got my attention because I am in China! We've been here since the 2nd and will get back home the 12th. We're in Shanghai today. Then back to Beijing and then on to Chicago. Five cities - lots to see and do. Beijing and Shanghai each have about 22 million people! Small cities have about 7 million. Yikes!

How do you like it here Mike? I'm a Chinese American, but I moved to China for work about two years ago. I hope you enjoy your time here!

Hi Will,

Just got back from Beijing. Five cities in 10 days. It was fabulous!! Great people, great food. Luckily we had a bilingual guide. The language barrier is tough. Even so, we were able to go off on our own and take a taxi back to the hotel. You just needed a card with the hotel info in Chinese. I wish we had had time to take the high speed train to another city. Some of our group did that on the last day.

Nice presentation and moves were overall pretty good. Especially liked the appearance of the Chinese coins.

Just watch out for your telegraphing. Before every slight there was either small noticeable pause right before or the slight was just slightly sped up from everything else. I think even though laymen probably wouldn't have any idea what you did, they would have the feeling something was done. Eliminate those and it should be really deceptive.

Glad you enjoyed your time Mike. I hope that the culture shock wasn't too enormous. China has ways to go to improve as a nation.

And Rick, I loved your patter. The music was fit the performance very well. The only thing I would personally change is that after the effect ends, I don't think any patter should continue. After the appearance of the other two Chinese coins, you continued on with the patter and that led me to believe something else was going to happen. Does the ending patter add to the story? Yes, but consider whether it is necessary or not.

I hope this helps.

Thank you Will,

I see what you mean there. I kind of just kept going to show the cleanliness of the hands and coins in a subtle way.
