On a recent thread, the name Gary Ouellet came up.  I'm sure many know of him, but probably even those that knew of him can appreciate some of the information about him that perhaps they didn't know.

I can't say he belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of magic, but he certainly had influence.  He presented magic with class and was very passionate about the art.

So sorry to hear the sad news. I remember using some of his ideas when I was working on my Gypsy Thread routine. His "Close Up Illusions" was one of the first serious books on magic that I studied.  RIP  [frown]
