Hi Everyone, I am currently working through an effect that Harry put in his Personal Collection, as well as JawDroppers volume one (updated). I would like to include it in an upcoming volume of the HaLo Project.

Do any of you currently perform this? If so, I would love to have a video chat with you to discuss it.

Thanks in advance!

Rudy

I’m also looking for the contact information for Hideo Kato. I saw over at the Magic Café that he has some work on this effect.
The email address that is linked to his account didn’t work. The email that I sent to him got kicked back to me.

You need to be well rested, sober, and have time (and a regular/complete deck)  on your hands when learning What A M-E-S or one of its slight variations.  Incidentally, if you don't know - the M-E-S stands for Memory, Estimation, Sleight of hand.

I worked through all your variations of What A M-E-S and I can guarantee that anyone who learns this will have a very powerful effect on their hands.

The most difficult part is the mental calisthenics that you have to do while dealing the cards into four packets.
I trust you when he says that it’s not impossible with some practice. I am going to work hard to add this to my repertoire.

It definitely falls into the REPUTATION-MAKER category - people will think you're a mental genius. "Impossible"?  Of course not - I performed it for decades - and I "ain't" no mental genius! After a while, that dealing into four packets becomes almost - ALMOST - automatic. It did for me.

Just to continue for a beat - I'm proud of literally hundreds of effect/routines I've developed. This one is pretty darn close to top of the list. And it's one heck of a mental exercise!
