I extracted the video of Harry at 4F in 1991. There's a little roasting going on at the beginning and then Harry performs for a while. The video is uploaded an is converting on Vimeo right now. Here's the link:

Harry, you should be able to right click on the LINK in Mike's original post and be given an option to copy the link. You can then paste it into an email or whatever.

Also, I just emailed you a copy of the link.

I loved this! Thanks for making this available to us, Mike!

I was lucky enough to have Harry teach this to me during one of our meetings. It was incredible to watch him do this and proves that Harry's mind is as sharp as ever! For those who don't know, it takes quite a lot of mental effort to make this effect (What A MES) look as easy as Harry does in this video. The fact that he's recalling things that he actually memorized from that issue of Time magazine, elevates this effect to unbelievable heights.

For what it's worth, I'll be teaching this in the upcoming volume 4 of "The HaLo Project".

Thanks Mike. That was fantastic. This is why Harry is one of the best. He always makes you feel your witnessing a miracle and not just a card trick.

You are so right Mark, that moment is priceless.  I love that Harry was literally doing many things at once, something many of us have trouble with.  He was not only remembering the trick, but the magazine and thinking of funny rejoinders all at once.

A true pro.

Thanks for sharing this Mike!  I always love watching some classic Harry Lorayne!

He has a personality and an ability as an entertainer well beyond what you can learn, and it's either something you're given by God at birth, or you just don't have it.

Amazing....Thanks Mike for posting. I am lucky if I remember my cell phone number, and I am only 74.  Is it OK for me to share this with my fellow IBM Ring members?  [crazy]

I just saw a great example of "you can't please everybody."    I'll copy the post, that actually gave me my laugh of the day, by a lovely named Smooth Criminal.  Here it is:

"Quite frankly, the cussing and bad language put me off long before the drawn out dull procedure made me fall asleep.

Mr L writes great books, but this was a crude snooze fest."

Yes, I saw that Harry.  I got a laugh out of it also.  There is a time and a place that enters into the equation and your performance was perfectly suited for the time and for the place.

I'm still amazed that you can do three things at once.  My wife can, but it is a talent that eludes me.

Hi Harry,

I have to believe that this person is only trolling you. I know that everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I can’t see how anybody could find your performance to be a “snooze fest”. I just performed “What a MES” for Jenn and Drake last night and they were floored by it. The effect itself seems like an incredible demonstration of skill. But your energy, quick wit, and incredible skills of memory elevate this to heights that many of us can only hope to ascend to.

Please take the words of a nameless troll with a grain of salt. A room full of incredible magicians gave you a standing ovation. That actually says something remarkable about you.

We love you, Harry!

Rudy

Best thing I've watched all year. Nice to see Harry relaxed, enjoying every riff with the audience. And combining the whole thing with the magazine stunt.  Thanks very much Mike. And Harry for a great routine.

Harry, I was the one who pointed out that the only attack in the entire thread was actually Smooth Criminal's attack on yourself.  Ironic, isn't it?
