Harry shared this wonderful video with me where Michael Vincent speaks about Harry's influence on his magic. He also demonstrates his handling of two of Harry Lorayne's masterpieces, "Numero Uno" and the "Cardshark and the Four Gamblers".

Enjoy!

Rudy

Lovely video.  The testimonial was obviously very genuine and heartfelt.  I totally agree with Michael's description of Harry's writing style.  I've always said I'd rather read the Afterthoughts, the Ellipses, etc. than the tricks even, because I can "hear" Harry's voice.  If you've read Harry Lorayne, your 99% of the way to knowing him.

I did find it interesting how Michael performed Numero Uno, particularly the way he revealed the chosen card.  Harry reveals the card and THEN counts the cards.  Actually, he asks the spectator "What are you dying to do right now?"  And they always answer, "Count the cards".  Perfect theater.  Not saying Michaels' was bad or wrong, just different.

Good stuff Rudy, thanks for sharing!

You're absolutely right, RayJ - the counting of your cut-off packet should be after the  selected card  is revealed.

This is a fantastic trick and yet another example of Harry Lorayne’s genius. A library copy of The Magic Book over 35 years ago got me started in magic. After all these years I am still discovering great stuff in the Apocalypse bound volumes.
