Hey everyone. I was just in the Saturday Session and wanted to pop by and do the intro thing for those that weren't there. I said I would throw my Creativity Notes here in the forum so here they are and I think they are a good intro to who I am. You can get them here - http://smappdooda.com/bullet

Welcome to TMF and great to have met you during the session Bizzaro! As I said in the chat, I just bought and received Shadow Thief and I want to start "playing" with it. A friend of mine bought a while ago your color changing sponge balls and they are great as well!

Maybe in the not so distant future you could give a lecture here on TMF. We haven't had one in a while and they are always great!

Well, see you around TMF and welcome again!

I'd be down. Not sure how that all works but I could run my new lecture I am working on.

Good to see you here, Bizzaro!

For those who missed it, I had Bizzaro on The Can-Am Conjuring Lecture Series last year. He absolutely killed!

I hope folks take the time to look over the Creativity Notes.  Lots of good stuff in there.  The section regarding "play" especially hit home.  Sometimes people come up with stuff accidentally just messing around with props.  Sometimes a move is developed but there is no context and no routine to use it in.  Years later you might be in a situation where the move fits perfectly.  So don't discard stuff just because you might not have use for it now.

I also enjoyed Bizzaro's website.  I only had time to view one video but it was great!

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I will try to be active when I can. I'm surprised I just found out about this forum. Steve Christian might be to blame ha ha.

Welcome aboard. Sorry I missed the Saturday session. Sounds like there was a lot of good magic getting shared.
My wife is a teacher for at risk kids, and a performer as well. She killed her students with Overstuft about two weeks ago.

Bizarro,
Welcome to The Magicians Forum. Good to have you here. Crazy that when you lived in Dallas we would hang out at the Monday Night gathering, then I saw you last week in Vegas, and now you are here. LOL

TMF,
Bizarro is a wealth of knowledge, and great magician. We are lucky to have him here. He's a good guy too.

Best,
Trini Montes

Hi Trini,

Good to see you back! Yes, Bizzaro fooled the heck out of us at our last session! Very talented and a nice guy, too.

I saw his Penguin Live lecture. He did a changing soda can I always meant to work up for the bar. Sadly, I no longer work there and the retail place I'm at now gets nervous when I do things there.

Tournament went well. I won one of them, and placed 5th in another. Not too shabby. The highlight of my trip was seeing you after many years, and also getting to see and hang with Ackerman. It was funny to see him look at me, and finally recognize me. LOL We had not seen each other in almost 10 years. It was good seeing him and you.

I have just joined this forum and this was the first post I opened. The document on creativity is awesome! Thank you for sharing it.

I am sorry I never met Johnny Thompson. Just for those I have heard speak of him, it is clear how much influence he has had on some of the most enjoyable magic every shared.

By helping others be better at what they do, as a consultant that is sometimes not even seen and having an understanding beyond the description on the boxes tricks come in, I would say that you are already one of the people who will carry his legacy to the generation that follows yours. Hopefully, I will get to meet you some day, but just reading your articles is rewarding.

By the way, my favorite "show" on the internet right now is "Unicorn Wednesday" and I wouldn't have found it without a link from you pointing in the right direction.

Glad you like it. We have plans to do another year of it for sure. I just got back from LA and we even shot some more with Max Maven.

I forgot about the episodes with Max Maven! I often wonder what kind of show Max Maven would do for a children's birthday party. Do you think he ever did kids birthday parties? He hasn't responded to inquiry via email. His appearance on Unicorn Wednesday is absolutely amazing!

Guess what! Today is Wednesday! Anyone who hasn't visited the channel... go there right now

Hello, Bizzaro!

I'm a fan of your work and have had the honor of witnessing some of your lectures. Your 'Penguin Live Lecture' is among one of my favorites and I've purchased your 'A Marked Man' DVD which I have used, especially concerning your thoughts on the card reveal Sharpie.

I've received some strong reactions from spectators with that one in particular and the Double Ended idea is pure genius!

And I did send Mike a thank you because that IS a clever (and awesome) idea!

Thanks for being you!

—Steve Malco
