I'm working through "Somebody Stop Me" in Asi Wind's book "Repertoire" and can't seem to get it to work.

Well, it kinda works. As you bring the trick to a conclusion, the spectator's selection is supposed to be located a certain amount of cards from the top. The problem that I'm having is that the card is actually located in that position...from the bottom of the deck.

Can one of you run through the explanation and tell me if it works for you?

Thanks!

Rudy

Hey Rudy,

I’ve been though it a few times and for me it works as written in the book. The target card is the certain number from the top.

I’ve tried to do it a few different ways to get the card that number from the bottom but can’t. You are doing all dealing face down, right?

Happy to get online anytime in the next few hours or so if you want or include in the session tomorrow?

Thanks for bringing this one to my attention I hadn’t gone through it. It’s a beauty.

Thanks for checking, Gareth. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'll run through it again.
