David Blaine's Indigo Trick.

The Grey Elephant in Denmark Trick.

They are both similar type of tricks.. I just don't know the name for this set of tricks.  I am working on a trick which is like these.

I think "psychological force" is the category for that trick. I'm judging that on Grey Elephant in Denmark as I am unaware of the Blaine trick named.

Blaine trick is similar:  1) think of your favorite dessert.  They should be thinking coookie, pie, cake, etc.. 2) think of US president whose last name begins with the last letter of that dessert. (They should be thinking Eisenhower).   Think of a color in a box of crayola crayons which begins with the second letter of the president you are thinking of.  They should be thinking Indigo.

There is also the element of a mathematical force.  So you could say that the effect contains a mathematical force as well as psychological forces.

I don't get it Jennifer

Let's See:
Ice Cream
Monroe
Orange

Nah - I don't get it.[rolleyes]  I too think it should be categorized as psychological.

Maybe I shoulda gone with
Cobbler
Roosevelt
But I still come up with Orange?
