Hi guys

It has been awhile since I have posted a new episode of the Magic Newswire "Spirit of Magic" podcast, but guess what?!

Not only have I finally published the long promised conversation with Armando Lucero, but I have also recovered many of the shows that were lost or damaged in the transfer to my new hosting services.

The new episode with Armando can be found here: http://www.bit.ly/MNWArmando

Other newly recovered episodes include:

I am in the process of restoring the complete interview with David Ben as well which somehow was cut from 2 hours to 10 minutes. I'll keep you posted on that one.

Also recording a new chat on Sunday.

Happy to get back into the swing of things and I hope that you enjoy them!

Thanks so much for sharing this. Looks like it's time to dive in and listen. Very excited about some of those names. I am especially geeked about Barrie Richardson. I recently got a copy of "Theater of the Mind" and I love his writing style and approach to the art. I wish I had the chance to meet him.

MY PLEASURE!  It has been greatly rewarding recording these over the years.  I apologize in advance for the ads that are in some.  I stopped accepting advertisers some time ago as I felt it distracted from the content. If I ever find the time, I'll go back and remove them.

There are 340 total episodes to date so you have plenty to listen to if you're just discovering the podcast.

I look forward to hearing what you think as well as to your suggestions for future interviewees!

Wow, this is great! My job is to basically sit and draw all day and while I do that I like to listen to music, interviews, documentaries etc. I think this list of podcasts will pass many a day at work. Thanks for the upload!

Sure thing! I am a nut for podcasts myself and listen to little else when I am driving or in the office.

Note: Not all of the episodes are listed in the sidebar of the MagicNewswire.com website. I'll get that updated soon.

Almost all of them are online at the Conjuring Arts Research Center website here: http://conjuringarts.org/category/magicnewswire/

Or, you can find them on iTunes here: http://apple.co/1niiHiK or at Libsyn where they are stored: http://magicnews.libsyn.com/webpage

I look forward to the feedback and suggestions for people that you'd like to hear from.

Also, if anyone finds an episode on the MagicNewswire site that isn't working, please let me know and I will get it fixed asap.

Best
Dodd

Thrilled to hear there are new interviews on the way. The Newswire was a great chance to learn about performers I wouldn't have heard about otherwise. I look forward to learning more.

Dodd, thanks for sharing these with us!

Man, that interview with Harry is just wonderful. You sure know how to do a great interview! You asked thoughtful questions and allowed him to freely speak his mind without interruptions. I was immediately gripped from the beginning when you asked him to talk about where he's from and how he was first introduced to magic. Absolutely fascinating! Harry has lived quite a life!

You've given all of us a very special gift by making this interview freely available.

Thanks again,

Rudy

I've just begun listening to Dodd's interviews... David Williamson, Lennart Green, Guy Hollingworth and Harry Lorayne's two-parter. These conversations are brilliant! Dodd really engages with his guests. These gems are highly recommended and it's easy to make a PayPal donation here: www.linkingpage.com

Another thank you! It takes more work that many know to produce something that sounds good as well is interesting. I appreciate the endorsement!

Excellent!   Is there any chance of recovering the rest of your talk with Stephen Minch?  It cuts off mid-sentence after about twelve minutes.
