Does anyone have any good ideas for a servante for the back of a busking table? I use a table I made out of plywood with a performance pad on one side, and chalkboard paint on the other. It just sits on top of a wooden waiter tray stand when in use. I bungee it to the side when being transported.

Anyway, I'm doing some work that needs a servante between me and the table. The tray stand does offer a handy pair of slats that stick out from under the table on either side. So it could hang from that. I know this isn't rocket science - I could really just sort of hang a backpack on it if I had to.

But I'm hoping to not reinvent the wheel if someone else has done this and is willing to share the idea.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

If you are a Genii subscriber, Tom Stone has a Column where he speaks about different topics. In the April 2016 issue (With Irene Larsen on the cover) he speaks about The Pocket Problem. If you have the chance, read it. It might give you some ideas...

I don't have this, but it's for sale or will perhaps give you an idea of what you can do.

I'll check the Genii issue, though I don't have a subscription. Lybrary.com only has them up to 2012 Sigh.

Dan - that's really close. And you know I love The Ambitious Card and their stuff[smile]. It's just too big for what I'm thinking of right now. Looking for something more subtle for now, mainly for ditching (lapping).

I have two screws drilled into the back edge of my table top, then I took a computer laptop bag and cut slots to hang onto the screws. It's worked perfectly for hundreds of street shows. I can email you photos if you want.
