Summary: magician, in the 1990s, had a video in which, for one effect, he takes his hat, and reaches into his hat up to his elbow, much like a cartoon. Anyone remember who and which video?

I don't recall seeing that video, but this immediately sounded like something Sylvester the Jester would have done. An internet search led me to his Wikipedia page, which lists a "Bottomless Hat" he created in 1995. Could that be this?

It's called Hat Trick and is by Jim Pace. It's on his Visu-antics DVD.

This is an old vaudeville gag... I think Charlie Frye has also shared work on it.
