This might seem a bit grim, but I wanted to get an opinion from people experienced with misdirection and sleight of hand.

Take these two famous sports injuries (warning, they are graphic).

Let's say I wanted to fake them in a public arena, how would I be able to mimic a Kevin Ware type leg injury or a Zednik throat injury?

Hi Moonrock1111,

Welcome to the Magician's Forum!

There are a number of effects that give the illusion of causing yourself bodily harm. For example, the "Twisting the Arm" illusion or "Freak 2.0" by Will Houston where you give the illusion that you're bending your finger in a way that it shouldn't.

With that said, I'm not sure how you'd accomplish something like what you're thinking about.
