My dad's friend gave me all his old magic books on a pdf and I was looking through it today and I came across Mnemonica! I have not learned mnemonica yet which I want too so I will probably start reading it but it is also worth like 300 dollars! Should I learn mnemonica somewhere else?

Many may differ, but to my mind it's worth should be measured more by its intrinsic value and not as a commodity. Did your dad's friend pass along his collection as a monetary investment or as an investment in your education as an aspiring magician? If you are in need of money, then sell it. If you are in need of knowledge, then read it. If you are in need of both, read it carefully and then sell it.

My .02 and worth every bit.

I got it for my education so I will definitely read it. I am not in need of money so I will keep it and learn from it.

Curious how he came upon a pdf version, given that it was never commercially released that way (if you get my drift...[nono])

It is actually pictures of each page of the book that he took and uploaded so it was on his computer! I get your drift but thankfully that is not what he did.
