Here's a trick that I've been performed dozens of times this weekend at a huge event here in my town.

Paul Gordon taught it to us in the lecture that he did for our forum.

Good stuff!  The hook is good and consistent.  This is an example of keeping the hook valid throughout the effect.  Even though it is a quick trick, the gorilla story applies through the face changes, the change in the actual number of the cards and finally the change in the backs.

Too many times a "hook" is set but then totally forgotten and outright ignored.  So in the end it becomes a complete waste of breath.

This shows the right way to do it.  Kudos!

Thanks Ray!! It's something that I need to continue to keep in mind because I can be just as prone to ignore the hook that I set at the beginning of an effect.

I appreciate the encouraging reminder!
