Hi all,

I pulled this little booklet off the shelf today, and what a gem it is.

I've posted the first page that is entitled About Lenier. I posted the front cover on instagram and Dorian Rhodell mentioned he knew Jules. He might share some reminiscences here.

If anyone has any stories or sources the learn more about Mr Lenier I'm all ears. As I told Dorian I love learn about the characters on my shelves. Quite the all-rounder by the looks of things.

I have seen that he was The Academy of Magical Arts' Close Up Magician of the Year 1976

P
S I found this on magicana. It is 4 of the effects in the booklet.

Did Jules pass is voice box to Max Maven when he'd finished with it or were they just separated at birth?

Thanks John, I enjoyed that. Mentalism that caused fights in the car park. Love it! Great website too. Dorian said he was 'a character'!

Gareth, thanks so much for sharing that.  I'd seen his name a multitude of times but had never witnessed him perform.  The Coins Thru Table routine featured one HPC technique that looked very smooth, not the typical "Slydini" handling at all.

You can always pick up something from watching a good performer.

He still owes me 50 issues of Talisman! I subscribed 2 issues before is unceremoniously vanished.

I don't know the specific details but unfortunately magicdom is rife with defunct and unrefunded pursuits. Doesn't make you feel any better, I know.

Bob,

No I don't but I'm working on a variation that's tentatively titled the "Unequivocal Serpent of a Half Dozen Hummers".
