When you join either of these associations do you get access to all past monthly magazines in digital form?  Would be nice to access any issue as reference.  Would be worth the membership fee perhaps if I could access past issues?

(I suppose this should be moved to the general magic sub-forum. Sorry I accidently posted here.)

I can’t say for SAM as I’m not a member. But it is true for the IBM.

For $35/year you can buy the digital subscription to Genii and see every issue produced... I love that!

Jennifer -- nope -- I'm not a member of either -- attended Ring mtgs locally here for a couple years as a "dues-paying guest" of some sort, but never joined IBM... unfortunately the meetings all seemed repetitious, and not going anywhere useful... and there is apparently some crossover of officers between the two organizations in town, so I would expect it to be the same for SAM.

You get access to all past issues of MUM with a SAM membership. A Genii subscription gets you access to 25 years of Magic magazine as well. It's a staggering amount of great info.

Jim... I went and looked up Magic Magazine, and while it says a "the collection is available for browsing with your subscription to Genii Magazine" -- I'm not seeing it with my login. I have only the digital subscription to Genii -- would I have to have the paper version also, or am I not seeing a link somewhere?

Thanks!

Dave,  MAGIC is there with the Genii digital edition. There is a drop down box at the top of the ISSUES page.

Jennifer, with the IBM, the last 7 or 8 years are available for download on the IBM.  But then you also get limited access to Ask Alexander where you can access the other 93 years of The Linking  Ring plus other classic magic magazines like the Sphinx

Mike, can you tell me more about this "limited access".  Not sure what it means.

Awesome... it's on the issues page after you have a magazine open...

Thanks for pointing that out!
