* Answered - called the Freeman Revelation. *

Hey everyone,

I am trying to find the name or location to learn a sleight/display. Hopefully I can describe it clearly. Basically, the card handler splits the deck and dovetail shuffles the two halves on the table. Instead of pushing the halves together, they are quickly pulled apart and there are two cards left sticking out of the middle of each half. Is that clear?
Alright Vlad, I know you'll know this. And its probably in one of the many books on my shelf, but I don't know where to start.

  Thanks!

Steve Freeman.
It was never actually published by Freeman but has been described in print by Darwin Ortiz and Jack Carpenter.

I learned it from Benjamin Earl's DVD set.

You can see it demonstrated at the 2 minute mark in this promo.

I'll have to check the name of the move when I get home.

Hope this helps.

Thanks!

Magicfish, you beat me to it!
ok, Jack Carpenter has published it in Apocalypse, Vol. 10, No. 12 and of course in Modus Operandi.
Darwin Ortiz has published it in "Lessons In Card Mastery", (Bulletproof, pp. 149)

Well, I have this set, but never watched all of the disks. I saw it on disk two but I never saw him explain it. He uses it in the first effect I believe, but no explanation unless it is further on the disk or one of the others.

Thanks

Thought you may want to know that Nathan Kranzo has a stand up version ( i.e with an in the hands riffle shuffle ) in his ebook Things with Cards.
