I believe it is Simon Aranson.

@Axel.  Nver met Nyquist.  Heard a lot of good things about him as he was friends with Jack McMillen who I knew through Paul Chosse.

Charles Nyquist has some items in Jack's book that you may find interesting.

Definitely Simon Aronson.  And I think the white-haired gentleman in the hat may be Howie Schwarzman.

Here's another from 2003.  Lots of people will recognize Roger Klause on the left -  sadly-missed.  Howie is still with us (last I heard), but I haven't seen him for several years.  He used to do the fastest, cleanest pass I have ever not seen.

2004 FFFF ... no need to name the gent on the left ... but how about the happy fellow on the right?  In a way, he could be considered the grandfather of TMF.

Yes, he is performing the plastic "ball and vase" at FFFF - and utterly amazing everyone with it!

It's Bruce Barnett.  Back around 1991 or 1992 he created "The Electronic Grymoire", one of the first functional online communities for magicians.  In its heyday it had a lot in common with TMF: open and friendly atmosphere (due to excellent moderators), great discussions, tons of valuable content, active participation from people of all ranges of experience, etc.

Seneca77 opened up a thread here back in 2016:
http://www.themagiciansforum.com/post/electronic-grymoire-8072691?trail=50

Oh, and the gentleman on the left is Jay Marshall.

Probably taken in the late seventies or early eighties at an I.B.M British Ring convention. I'd been sat talking with Alan Alan and Trevor Lewis and discussing Paul Harris's  early books, Myself and Alan had been saying complimentary things about "Flapjacks", I don't think Trevor had been aware of it so Alan demonstrated it using some patter of his own (something about putting money in a gas meter lol).

For those in the U.S. that haven't heard of Alan you can read about him here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Alan

I'm sure more will have heard more of Trevor, he did a lot of traveling across the Atlantic at one time.

I visited Alan's shop just once, some time around 1970 (I can't believe that was almost 50 years ago!)  I still have the beautiful Belgian-made Lippincott box he sold me.

Rudy, are you sure that isn't in Portland? That is Duane Duvall behind you, and the bald guy I believe is Ken Magee at what looks like the old Jantzen beach mall.

Man, you've got me thinking that maybe I'm nuts. I believe that I only met Pat Page once, and that was at the Great Mall in Milpitas, California, but now I'm doubting myself.

I'll have to double check the date of the photo to confirm.

By the way-- that's Vic Kirk in the McComb picture. The only man I know who
built and performed EVERYTHING in The Tarbell Course of Magic.

Thanks Mike - it was good to see you too.  The routine you taught in the workshop is great - a really, really clever combination of two secrets to achieve a powerful effect.

So happy to see that Nicolás was there. He's really great. I hope I can one day develop presentations, artistry, and theater even a sliver as well as he does.

Yes. Nico did great. I wanted to session with him and check out his Faro stuff but there was too much going on and our session didn't materialize. Next year....

So awesome to have four of these great Magician's here at our forum!

Sam, Mike, Nico, Steve F.

I'll be flying down to meet Nico later this month for a lecture that he'll be doing for the Magician's Forum. I'll share more soon!

FFFF 2006 - name them all?  (It wasn't a police line-up ... just the hotel hallway outside the Precursor Suite)

I'm guessing that most people know Sheets, Yedid and Wagner (at least by reputation).  Terry Lunceford is best known as the creator of the Viper, which apparently is no longer available: http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S13679 , but he's also an excellent close-up magician.

Jerry Camaro performing at The Mostly Magic Shop in Santa Rosa, CA.  Miss that guy a lot.  He would call me on the phone and when I answered, the first thing out of his mouth was, "Hey Pelican D**k!"

This was taken when Paul Chosse had just moved from Boston to San Francisco.  He got a job working at The House of Magic on Chestnut St. in SF.  Here he is standing outside of the shop.
